How YTThumbnaile Works
YTThumbnaile is an independent tool that helps a user retrieve the thumbnail image associated with a publicly accessible YouTube video URL. The user provides the URL, our browser-based code identifies the video ID, and the service builds links to the available public thumbnail image variants. The user can then view an image or request a download through the site.
YTThumbnaile does not host, upload, mirror, or redistribute YouTube videos. It does not provide a separate video-hosting platform, store copies of YouTube videos, or claim ownership of YouTube videos or thumbnails. The thumbnail URLs are served by YouTube's public image infrastructure. The download endpoint fetches the requested image and returns it to the browser; the application contains no database or feature that permanently stores thumbnail files. Network and delivery providers may still process or cache requests according to their own systems and policies.
Copyright & Thumbnail Ownership
A YouTube thumbnail may be protected by copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual-property rights. Review, Removal, and Response
We may request clarification or additional information when a complaint does not identify the material or rights at issue sufficiently. Where appropriate, we may restrict access to a reported image or link, remove a reference, or take another proportionate action while the matter is reviewed.
